Overview:
An object can float or sink depending on its density as compared to the density of the fluid in which it is placed. An object floats if its density is less than that of the fluid. An object sinks if its density is more than that of the fluid.
Learning Objectives:
After completing this module, you will be able to:
- Identify the conditions required for an object to float or sink in a liquid.
- Demonstrate the floating or sinking of different objects in different liquids.
